About me

I'm an enthusiast for my players regardless of system and love a rich tapestry of roleplaying, combat, and exploration. I've been playing tabletop games and telling stories for 25 years but still have so much to learn, play, and grow as a storyteller and GM. I love introducing the game to people but also love playing with veterans of the table. I tend towards more serious toned games, but humor always finds a way at the table and I love that. Weaving the characters stories, goals, and misadventures into the world around them is one of my favorite parts of running games. I mostly run 5e, Blades in the Dark, Scum & Villainy, and a few PbtA games (my new gem is Brindlewood Bay). I enjoy tweaking rules, creating homebrew that connects more deeply with the world and my players, and dig into lore, production value to some extent (think Foundry modules for maps, levels, dynamic lighting), and novel ways of changing up your standard top down battlemap.

What you should expect from a game at my table? 📖 Stories that entwine your characters histories and connection into the world around them making them feel connected and rooted. Their actions influence the world and it grows with them. 🫂 An excitement for each characters goals and how you as a player imagine their arc playing out over time. ⚔️ Exciting combats and encounters that encourage quick thinking and hit on meaningful character beats. 🎭 A mix of serious moments and light heartedness that comes with so many tabletop times. 🏳️‍🌈 An inclusive and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and disabled players. 🧷 A play environment that is about building trust, making space for each other, and open to questions and conversations.
