Hi there, I am Vironz, you can call me Vir. I have been Gming on and off for about 5 years, mostly focusing on Shadowrun. I, like most others, got my start in D&D 5th edition, and then I swiftly moved on to my favorite genre to explore, cyberpunk. I then spent about 2 years Gming Shadowrun, mainly focusing on combat spectacles and fighting. But after I stepped away from Gming i started playing in the World of Darkness, exploring gritty urban fantasy in a world that is controlled by vampires, werewolves, and mages. This is where I learned the importance of telling a story through exploration rather than through combat.

While they may be problematic due to how the character rights women, i do love the incarnations of immortality books. They give a unique perspective on morals and how people might go through a heaven and hell-driven urban fantasy scifi world would be.

I love Shadowrun 5e. Despite how many supplements and how crunchy the game is 5e is one of my favorites. It was the first game that i ever played and just fell in love with the world setting.

How Damean runs games

I now prefer to focus on Roleplay and politics, encouraging my players to talk and think their way out of a difficult situation rather than fighting. But of course, if there is a fight after fucking up a conversation, I will try to make it as punishing as possible without it being impossible. But sometimes you also just need to fight to get out of a situation, and for that, I do like to make battle maps for people to look at.

Listening to music and writing out what i would like to happen and then what i think the consequences of that are. But also i write out what happened the previous session.

My games focus on...

I make sure that i focus on character relationships to the world and the social aspects of any game that i run.

When it comes to voices

I try to add some flair and tone to it. I do my best with accents but i always slide back into my own regular voice.

I like players who are kind to each other and do not take what happens in the game personally. If that does happen, I hope they feel comfortable coming to me and being honest with me and with each other.

Is fine out of character to talk about, but never to influence what a character would do. Just because you know something doesn't mean your character does, act on their flaws, and act on their knowledge.
