About Vi
Hi! My name is Violet, but most folks call me Vi. I've been running tabletop RPGs for 9 years now, and while I have the most experience with D&D 5e, I enjoy systems like Call of Cthulhu as well! I'm always looking to branch out and learn more about the TTRPG landscape. I pride myself in running a queer-friendly table that's always open to beginners. New TTRPG players bring such a fresh perspective to the game—some of the most fun I've had is with players who have never heard of a D20 before. If that's you, welcome! I became a GM because
my group needed one! A whole group of us wanted to play, back in 2016, but none of us had experience actually doing so. So, I picked up the free D&D rules PDF, pieced together what I could from Critical Role, and gave it my best shot :) I've come a long way since then!

How Vi runs games
My games feature a mix of whimsical characters, emotional story beats, and exhilarating combat. My sessions tend not to be puzzle-heavy, but I feel the proudest when my players are presented with a challenging situation that inspires an inventive solution. I'm comfortable with both very light and very heavy tones! Whichever the party wants to experience.

Vi's ideal table
I enjoy players who are curious and ask questions! No pressure at all if you're inexperienced. The vibe at my table tends to alternate between silly and emotional, depending on what the situation requires. You may enjoy my games if you're a fan of The Adventure Zone!
