I became a GM because
I absolutely love helping players grow and learn more about their games. My favorite thing is getting out maneuvered by someone who I taught how to play.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Fate Core because it can run anything. The Cosmere RPG because I would miss having access to the Stormlight Archive books and Dungeons and Dragons because it's the system I know best. (Though depending on how this Daggerheart thing goes that might over take it.)
When I'm not running games I'm...
Usually working on my fantasy novels. Other than that I'm probably consuming as much fantasy related content (books, movies, anime etc.) as physically possible to keep the inspiration fires burning.
How Tyler Mann runs games
My style of GMing is much more focused on story and worldbuilding than harsh or tactical combat. While I can put together a difficult and interesting fight, I will generally save most of my time and effort for the big plot points and major story beats. You can expect me to have questions about your chracters backstory and motivations, include npcs from your past, and ask you to face your characters deepest insecurities. Afterwards, we can chat with a tiny goblin with a silly hat.

My games focus on...
Worldbuilding and character development. Expect me to ask you questions like "what lie does your character believe about themself?"
