How Glen runs games

🌐I play mostly voiced based games online via Discord and either Roll20 or Foundry VTT. 🗺️I run most combats on a gridded or gridless map. 🎉I am a fan of my players and their characters. I'd rather see you get a debilitating disease, develop a grotesque mutation, or sacrifice what's most important to achieve a goal, than to have you die outright. 🎲 I do publicly roll out in the open. The dice will land where they may. (transparency, fairness) 🌑Most of my fantasy games will lean towards Dark Fantasy. 🕯️I am interested in Horror in general, with a special interest in Gothic Horror. 🔔I like to run a game with all the bells and whistles if I can. (Pretty maps, tokens, art, handouts, audible ambience.) 󠀦﹠ I have a keen interest in running games other than D&D, but will also grudgingly agree that it is a solid system. 🚨 Weak points. Spectacle ◼◼◻◻◻ 💥 Some over-the-top setpieces, but not every session; Challenge ◼◼◼◼◻ 🏆 I tend to push characters to their mechanical limits to encourage utilizing solutions other than violence and combat. Simulation ◼◼◼◻◻ 📈 Some systems run in the background to sprinkle in plausibility and verisimilitude. Mechanics ◼◼◼◻◻ ⚙️ I’ll run the system as is to the best of my knowledge, but If I forget something I will make a ruling and move on.
