Hey, queens! Please, call me Jo Lee. I discovered the joy of DM'ing almost two years ago. Turns out: I'm pretty darn good at it! Even my DMs love to play at my table. 🥹 As an award-nominated singer and songwriter, my passion for performing translates to creating an immersive experience for you. Whether it's slaying epic monsters or hurtling through space, my table prioritizes player-driven narratives, with a balanced approach to role play and combat. My favorite game sessions are ones we make each other laugh just as much as pull on the heartstrings. I keep my table friendly and welcoming. If you’re new, I’ll walk you through the rules. GM Style

Number one: The experience should be fun! I put an emphasis on collaboration and storytelling. I love when players drive the narrative with their characters. You can expect a balance of role play and combat. I use character voices, battle maps, and instrumentals to put you in the world we're creating together. If I'm running a published module or adventure, I change up the story to make it matter to the PCs. My storytelling leans into high fantasy with a bit of camp, a dash of soap opera drama, and strong Miyazaki energy—think emotional stakes, big feelings, and the occasional talking animal. I steer clear of gruesome violence and don’t lean into intense horror. My priority is giving player characters room to breathe, grow, and be their full selves. Themes like romance, sexuality, identity, substance use, or emotional intensity may come up depending on the group vibe. We follow the story you want to tell, together.
