About Ginger GM
I have been a GM for almost 15+ years now and am beginning my professional GM journey. I run inclusive games for all types with a focus on fun. I mainly run Lancer modules, though in my spare time I play a lot of Blades in the Dark.

How Ginger GM runs games
I am an improve GM at heart who focuses more on story then mechanics... though that may be hard to see as I mostly run Lancer modules which downplays both of those aspects. But for that tradeoff I get awesome giant robots blowing each other up! So, it is a sacrifice I am willing to make. + My NPCs have been described as quirky and fun to interact with and I have been told they often can be the highlight to the games I run. My NPCs can be pretty eccentric and comedic, but I can also do serious and dark when needed. + I have also been told I can develop some pretty brutal and challenging (but fair) combat scenarios. My motto is that if you are not able to lose a combat, then why is the combat even there? I'm not a killer GM, but I do want player's to feel like they earn their progress and that it was not just given to them.

I deal with rules issues by...
Trying to find the answer but making an executive decision if it is taking too much time.
My games focus on...
Zany characters and puzzle-y combat.
Rules are...
made to be broken.
Ginger GM's ideal table
My table is pretty laid back. Most of my groups likes to talk about their week or something cool they saw within the first part of any session before we dive in. Humor and laughter are commonplace and while the table can grow quiet as the narrative tension builds, eventually someone will crack a joke to release it.

I think it's a red flag when players...
Don't consider the group as a whole and just do what is best for them, claiming it is just playing "in character".
I think min/maxing...
Removes a lot of the fun of story telling. But in combat heavy games like Lancer I think min/maxing is half the fun! It depends on the game.
