About Robert
I've been immersed in the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons for nearly fifteen years, a journey that began with wide-eyed wonder and quickly evolved into a passion for collaborative storytelling. For the past five years, I've stepped behind the DM screen, telling intricate stories, breathing life into NPCs, and guiding adventurers through dangerous dungeons and wonderous landscapes. With a love for fostering immersive and engaging experiences, I love crafting worlds that feel both vibrant and lived-in, and my DM-ing style often emphasizes player agency, encouraging creative problem-solving and rewarding in-character choices. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive table where players of all experience levels can feel comfortable and contribute to the unfolding story.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Im an office administrator for a Utility Locate Company and a Catering Manager for Weddings. Beyond that, Im spending 99% of my OOG time giving scritches to my puppy.
How Robert runs games
Whether it's delving into classic fantasy tropes or exploring more unconventional settings, my goal is always to create unforgettable adventures and shared moments of triumph (and occasional hilarious failure) for my players. I am constantly seeking to learn and evolve my DM-ing craft, always seeking new ways to bring the magic of D&D to life.
Robert's ideal table
I play a very laid back style of game. I let narrative beats overrule the actual rules of the game when the players have a cool idea, I love to work with players to devise fun new mechanics for their character, and I would rather wing it bc my players did something unexpected than railroad them into something.

I love it when a player
Players who embrace their characters are some of my favorites. Im not asking for voices and such - just the occasional "how would my character feel about that?" That being said - "Its what my character would do" isn't a good excuse for acting out at the expense of the other players.
I think metagaming...
Metagaming is impossible to 100% remove from the table 100% of the time. All I ask of my players is that they TRY. The occasional meta slip is going to happen - its all about how the players and DM deal with it.
