About Terry
Reality became overrated, so I decided that instead I would live out my fantasies through stories with my friends. As it is written, it was never about the gold and riches found, but the friends we made along the way. And so, I set out on my journey to experience every roleplay scenario that could ever come my way. I am an avid tabletop role player, LARPer, and world explorer. I have championed roles as a Commodore setting sail into unknown waters, roamed the earth as a ghost bent on revenge after choking on a chicken nugget, scorned my offspring as a vampire overlord, ruled many Kingdoms as controversial rulers of humans and elves, and so much more. The stories that I tell are fantastical, stray from the confines of everyday situations, and empower others to dream big. I progressed from books to online roleplaying via Muds, then to live action roleplay (LARP), and finally to tabletop. While each GM has their own strengths and weaknesses, I would say that I am an overly prepared GM who enjoys plots involving moral dilemma, difficult decisions, and consequences for actions. I have contributed to several tabletop games, including the Deittman Files TTRPG and the Way of a Hero. I am extensively familiar with Powered by the Apocalypse as a system, as well as Pathfinder 3.5 and Dungeons and Dragons 5e. I have play-tested many systems and games, and consider myself versatile and willing to pick up additional systems.

How Terry runs games
Things I am great at: - Improvisation and preparation. I believe in preparing an overarching plot and allowing players the versatility to make decisions that impact the world in fantastic ways. - Creating complex plots that rely heavily on morally grey choices, consequences for actions, and critical thinking. - Developing layers of plot: world overarching, local, and individual. In my experience, players thrive on individual lore that makes them unique and gives them an opportunity to shine - while balancing the overall interests and needs of the groups. As a GM, here are how my priorities are laid out: 1. To the people that are playing. 2. To the story that we're telling. 3. To the truth and validity of the world we're playing in. 4. To the rules and mechanics of the system.
