About Teri
I've been playing and DMing for about a decade now. Curse of Strahd is the adventure/module closest to my heart, but I also have a weakness for dragons :) oh, and werewolves :D

When I'm not running games I'm...
prepping for a session :D
How Teri runs games
DM alignment: neutral good. I put the narrative and characters (in my mind, inextricably intertwined) above the mechanics, but try to keep things relatively grounded in realism and logic so as to not break immersion. And while the goal is to have the antagonists behave as realistically as I can, it is never my intention to act "against" the players per se.
Featured Prompts
I prep by
knowing my table first and foremost, but then reviewing past sessions, writing up potential courses of action and all the relevant information (locations, NPCs, custom stat blocks), setting up visual references such as maps and portraits, and music, of which I am a huge fan.
My favorite trope is...
I am a sop for romance right now, so I am gonna have to go with friends to lovers :D
My games focus on...
the narrative and the characters. My favorite part of DM-ing is weaving together pre-established lore, character backstories, and all the other bits and pieces that make a game, into a coherent, logically grounded, customised narrative.
Teri's ideal table
Featured Prompts
I am for a vibe that's...
intimate in atmosphere, cosy, easy-going, eager and above all, friendly.
If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
romance, because I know many other DMs feel awkward about it. I've no dignity left and thus no shame, so bring the flirting on :D alright, while that is true, as a player, I've had only the best experiences with it, and do not think in the slightest that it is sth inherently "wrong" to want to RP.
I love it when a player
is enthusiastic, in love with their character (and the other player and non-player characters), and/or engages with a campaign outside of the game :)
