About me

Hi! My name is Scott... otherwise known as Telarus. I have been playing TTRPGs for 30 years and have been a GM for 26 years. While I have played in many different systems, I have experience in running DragonLance 5th Age, Dungeons and Dragons (3.0, 3.5, and 5th editions), Pathfinder (1st and 2nd editions), Shadowrun (2nd and 3rd editions), and Star Wars (West End d6 and WOTC). I enjoy creating and running long campaigns that are epic in scope. I weave PC backgrounds into the plot and believe in rewarding great role playing. I moved to northern Minnesota a few years ago and I miss running a regular game. StartPlaying is an opportunity to share my love of stories and adventure with like-minded people. GM Style

My first love is crafting and running long campaigns that are epic in scale. I have a fairly relaxed style and can accommodate unexpected side quests. I love roleplaying during sessions, but I also enjoy combat. Adventures I run usually include elements of character backstory within the plot.
