About Tag

GM since 2019 | Player of TTRPG since 2016 I started running games around 2019 for friends because I wanted to tell the stories and the themes that I wasn't seeing around me. I wanted stories with diverse faces like my friends and the inclusion of different cultures. So I ran my first game and it was terrible. It was so bad that the highlight of the game were the chicken fingers we ordered. Not going to lie the food was phenomenal. But I felt like a failure; ready to throw in the towel. My thoughts lead me to my first experience of playing Call of Cthulhu at a gaming convention. Remembering the joy of discovering TTRPG and the wonderful feeling of creating stories with a group of shared goals. In the end, I didn't give up. That was a great decision. I got opportunity to run my own games in conventions and meet some wonderful people along the way.

How Tag runs games

My players tell me my GM style is best described as conversational narrative. Games are structured and planned but there is plenty of room for improv and derailment (if the story calls for it).
