About Stephen
Aloha! I've been playing and running tabletop RPGs for almost 23 years, and I hope to keep it up at least that much longer. Even before finding the brand-new Player's Handbook (v 3) under the tree, though, I'd always been captivated by the possibilities of dungeon-crawling video games and choose-your-own-adventure books. I hope to share that love of imagination with folks, and offer a high-quality experience for people willing to dive in. I have an abiding love of games of all sorts, and games like Dungeons & Dragons let me be a huge geek about the system and the lore just as much as the individual character development. What's fun for you? What would keep you coming back, week after week, until you find out how it all ends?

How Stephen runs games
If there's one thing I love about pre-existing settings, it's how much lore is out there. I'm a sucker for a good infodump, and feel that the best mystery is not knowing how the clues connect, rather than not having the clues at all. I am a firm believer in, and denouncer of, the Stormwind Fallacy. I believe you can optimize your cake and roleplay with it, too! But not everyone wants both flavors, and that's okay, too.
