About Ash
I've been playing D&D 5e for about 6 years now. I started running games shortly after I learned how to play because my friend group needed a DM. Now, I continue to run games for my friends, but one of them suggested I try running games professionally. I thought, "Why not give it a shot?" I think of myself as a new DM still, but I pride myself on being able to introduce and teach people how to play this amazing game. I try to make my games as welcoming as I can to people of all kinds. I do not tolerate bullying or discrimination in any form. I look forward to meeting players new and old! I hope we can have a great time together!

I became a GM because
I learned how to play D&D from a friend who's been playing since the 80s. He even mentored me so to speak on running games. I wanted to teach my friends in turn and became their DM. Until very recently, I'd been running games for them and even some coworkers who wanted to give D&D a try.
My favorite books are
The three fantasy series written by Sarah J. Maas and the Bright Falls series by Ashley Herring Blake. I'm a huge fan of fantasy and romance, especially queer romance.
My favorite shows/movies are
I adore animated shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender, She-ra, The Owl House, RWBY, and Arcane to name a few. I recently watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and loved it immensely. The soundtrack has been on loop since.
How Ash runs games
I'd say I'm on the more flexible side when it comes to GMing. I can adjust according to what my players prefer whether its a heavier focus on roleplaying or combat. Typically, I run an even mix of both. The combat itself usually isn't very difficult or tactical. If you're looking for a gritty, hardcore experience, I'm afraid you won't find it here. I can run games that are light and chaotic, or very serious and emotional. It all depends on what my players feel comfortable putting in.
