About Strange Arcade
Hey there! My name is Joe! For years, I have had ideas for settings and adventures that I'd like to create and feel that now is the time to unleash these creations for others to enjoy. My GM style is to allow the players to shape their story, by allowing each character to develop their own relationships with the world around them through role-play and to achieve success through challenging combat. I am here to guide you through an epic quest of your own making, to shape an adventure full of laughs, thrills, drama, and most importantly, fun. I am excited to meet you, and look forward to being a part of the story we can create together.

How Strange Arcade runs games
I aim to create adventures full of roleplay, exciting combat and mystery, the occasional puzzle, fun voices, and exciting twists. I will also include any background cues that you'd like to see developed throughout your time adventuring with me. I am a big believer in RoC. Your characters are the heroes of this story, and it's my goal to build the world for them to thrive in, with the occasional hardship, to create an epic story together.

Strange Arcade's ideal table
I appreciate players who get involved and use their characters to shape the world around them. I've said it before, I'll say it again, I love collaborative story telling. The vibe is pretty relaxed. Everyone is here to have a good time; sometimes that means laughing together, and other times it means crying together. We play these games as our characters and over time grow a bond with the other players.

I think metagaming...
For the most part doesn't exist. The only thing that is kinda frowned upon is using player knowledge of enemies to take advantage of weaknesses or exploits that your character wouldn't reasonably have knowledge of.
My table is not the place for...
The only thing I try to curtail is people with main character syndrome. We're here to adventure together, support each other in telling an amazing story and have fun. If your ego needs to be babysat, my table might not be for you.
