About Kaleb VanHoof
I have always found this style of games very fun and interesting. I play and DM for some friends. Playing/running official material and homebrew alike. Its something I find myself passionate about and an outlet for me and my friends creativity to be expressed. Especially since people I've played with or ran games for call me a social butterfly. I'm still new to DMing and would love to experience it with a wide network of other players/DMs.

I became a GM because
Because many of my friends wanted to play DnD. I had a bad experience with the game in the past and I decided that I'd put that bad experience aside and create a game where me and my friends could just have fun and explore a fantasy setting. We all grew to love the game and grew closer to this day.
My favorite shows/movies are
I love the Witcher games/show. Love reading Harry potter/ the shadow Hunter series and companion series. Big fan of anime as well

Unpredictable, is definitely something I've heard my friends call me when we play. Enthusiastic. I love the game alot and always have a blast whenever I'm playing or running it. Forgetful sometimes. I forget small details sometimes. Can always remind me. I try my best to remember what I can.
How Kaleb VanHoof runs games
I love the roleplay aspects of the game, I like to brainstorm ideas for backstories with my players and the setting. IM a goofy guy myself and enjoy bringing interactivity to my games with the world and its people. I try my best to use fun or distinct mechanics in combat from either the monsters/npcs you fight or the battlefield itself being an obstacle. I believe in player choice creating and bending what happens next in the game. cause and effect and such.

My ideal table is a bit of a mix. I love a group that can lighthearted jokes in and out of character but that is willing to roleplay quite a bit as well. The more connection your characters and players form the better the experience in my experience. Where all here to explore, battle creatures/bad guys and be a part of the world in a meaningful way.
