About SoleiaFlur
I am an experienced writer, teacher, and GM. I first played D&D at college and quickly became a part of a friend group that met up weekly to play D&D, Mage, and Pathfinder. After college, I both played and was the GM for games that met at the local gaming shop for about five years. When I started my career as a high school teacher, I gamified my classroom to be a D&D style rpg where my students could earn spells and level up in a world filled with lore and bosses they could defeat for rewards. Post teaching, I spent some time with an online group with that did recording for Youtube and I was the GM for one of the recorded D&D 5e campaigns. All in all, I've been playing for 20 years and been a GM for about 18 of those years.

How SoleiaFlur runs games
I love a good story. At heart, I love rich and well constructed worlds with vibrant characters that never lack in personality. I want my players to really care about the people and places they come across, or have valid reasons why they want to burn everything to the ground. I believe a good campaign is memorable and leaves you with a sense of having truly gone on an adventure that is worthy of re-telling as a fond experience. This doesn't mean that rules go by the wayside, they are important to give the story structure and act as the backbone to a good campaign.
SoleiaFlur's ideal table
I like a table where everyone can feel like they can be themselves and everyone there has fun. I want people to be creative and really invest in the story and making the whole group have a good time. I like a lot of laughter, but knowing when to be serious at the dramatic parts. Mostly, everyone needs to get along and feel comfortable enough to speak up if there are issues so we can figure things out.
