About Aeon / Kalle
Hi! I’m Kalle (or Aeon —both work). I’ve been telling stories at the table for close to 30 years, building worlds full of strange wonders, messy heroes, and just the right amount of chaos. Whether we’re exploring dark and moody city streets, laughing through a heist gone wrong, or chasing wild character arcs, I’m here for it. I love helping players make their big ideas sing—whether it’s crafting tangled backstories, scheming clever plans, or simply vibing in the world we create together. My games are inclusive, player-focused spaces where everyone gets a moment to shine.

I became a GM because
No one else wanted to run the game. Thats the short story really. But what it gave me in return was the chance to let my imagination run wild. Come up with all the stuff and pour it into my games.
I got started GMing...
In the lawless era of the 90s, when the Interwebs was a distant fever dream, the systems were decidedly crunchy and collecting dice was a lot more troublesome than today.
My favorite books are
Books that I take off the shelf again and again to read them one more time are: Isaac Asimov's Foundation, Ernest Cline's Ready Player One and any of Sir Terry Pratchett's Novels really.
How Aeon / Kalle runs games
At my tables, the vibe is all about collaboration, creativity, and fun. I’m here to help you tell cool stories, get into your character’s headspace, and pull off wild plans—whether they succeed gloriously or fail in the most hilarious way possible. I balance snappy pacing with room to breathe, so there’s space for quiet character moments and big, chaotic set pieces. Want to make bold moves? Bring them on. Love emotional arcs? I’ll help weave them into the world. Prefer rolling vibes over rolling dice? We can lean into that too. Tone-wise, I follow the table’s energy—whether we’re veering toward heartfelt drama, laugh-out-loud hijinks, or a mix of both. Above all, my games are welcoming spaces for everyone to play, explore, and shine.

I deal with rules issues by...
By making a judgelemt call in that moment and usually look the rules up after the session if this might be a reoccuring thing to do it right next time. If the rules are indeed not clear on something, i come to an agreement with the player(s) on how to handle it moving forward.
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
The Monty Python crew. Let's be real. We all know the meme and that it is true.
Aeon / Kalle's ideal table
My ideal table consists of players that engage with the story or environment, rather than the system. Systems are important. Sometimes rules as written is important to make that particular game working. But the story is why we actually play this, right? .. right?

I love it when a player
Comes up with a genius solution to the problem me or the module did not cover. It forces me to improvise and I know that's where i'm great at. I give a lot of leeway beyond the rules for players that have a great idea.
I think it's a red flag when players...
When a player arrives at my table with a fully developed character. Usually some hot reddit/youtube build. Ignoring the current party composition, just wanting to try out the character mechanics. Experience showed that retention for these players is pretty bad. So naturally I grew wary of them
