About Shadow Chorus Games
William / Shani, Genderqueer Bisexual storyteller, mixed Native American, Hispanic, and Northern European, big fan of your character and always looking to push you to overcome the challenge. Doing regular streamed games with Final Show Films. Any/All pronouns are valid. Started roleplaying as a kid with online games (Warcraft 3 RP Maps, hi everybody who remembers those) and eventually spread out into DnD and other systems, constantly nurturing a love for storytelling and writing. I actually discovered my identity through TTRPGs, as I realized through the years that I was equally comfortable in the skin of a man, woman, or anything in between. I've been Roleplaying for approaching 20 years now, and I've been Game Mastering for at least half of that. I've played and run in every kind of game at every kind of table, from close friends to strangers at a con, from adversarial Party vs GM crunchiness to collaborative storytelling and streamlined mechanics. No stranger to homebrew, it's actually a passion of mine; whenever I think of something that's missing from a ruleset or a new character idea that's not represented in the options, I start brewing something new in my head that often makes it down into a document. Big fan of Pathfinder, Starfinder, and DnD 5e among the big mainstays, but also really enjoy other games like Lancer, Shadowrun, World of Darkness and basically any kind of roleplaying game that offers something fun to play around with. Big media worlds of choice and easy settings for me to run a game in include World of Warcraft, Warhammer 40k, and most DnD settings, including Exandria, but I'm also a world builder as well and perfectly glad to guide players through a world of our own devising. Looking forward to playing and running games as time and interest allows!

How Shadow Chorus Games runs games
I enjoy a solid mix of mechanical crunch that supports the storytelling going on at the table, but I'm flexible enough to slide anywhere up and down that scale. I'm quick at making judgement calls in the moment when presented something outside the scope of established rules and always open for improvising on the spot, both in character and as far as the game goes. Very seat-of-your-pants style of GM, often establishing broad story points and important thematic beats but leaving the session-to-session up to the will of the players and the way things fall.
