About Jason

I’m a 26-year-old Dungeon Master who loves creating fun, immersive tabletop experiences. I’m still fairly new to the TTRPG world, but I’ve played in multiple campaigns and currently DM for my friends, this is something I’ve really fallen in love with. I focus on storytelling, creativity, and making sure everyone at the table feels involved and excited to play. My DMing style is collaborative and flexible, and I enjoy adapting to my players’ ideas to create memorable moments. Whether you’re brand new to tabletop games or have years of experience, my goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome and leaves the session having had a great time.

How Jason runs games

I love roleplay and really getting to know what my players enjoy, then shaping the adventure around that. My games are very player-focused, I want everyone to feel invested in the story and their characters. One of my favorite campaign styles starts with the party facing an overwhelming threat early on. They may even fall to it. But that’s only the beginning... From there, the story is about growth, learning, and earning the tools needed to come back stronger and eventually overcome that threat. I like to keep a good pace at the table, with meaningful progression and regular level-ups (often at least once per session), so the story always feels like it’s moving forward. I’m also fairly relaxed with quality-of-life rules. I don’t micromanage things like spell components, ammo, or basic survival needs unless it adds something meaningful to the story. My focus is on fun, flow, and keeping the game enjoyable rather than punishing.
