About Will
Hey everyone! I've been playing 5th edition D&D for 7 years now and I've been DMing for almost all of that. I love all tabletop games in general, and am well versed in multiple, however D&D 5e has been my favorite since the beginning. I'm a voice-actor and all-around nerd. Aside from tabletop RPGs I also love videogames and anime. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and welcome everyone. I love creating worlds for players to explore and watching them solve problems creatively. I can't wait to run a fun story for you!

How Will runs games
Storytelling in a fantasy setting is amazing because you can make it anything you want, and I love bringing a bunch of diverse NPCs that my players will get invested in. I love both roleplay and combat and I think they are best when they go hand-and-hand. A common theme I love to play with in my games is morality, presenting a world that makes my players decide for themselves what is truly "good" or "bad". I find that this encourages roleplay and character growth. When it comes to world-building I have experience with both linear and open world games, however I prefer open world games. I love presenting a world full of quests, people, and places, and allowing my players to carve out their own path. I've found that this allows so much creativity to flourish at the table, making allies out of could-be enemies, even changing the narrative in ways I never saw coming. I mostly run rules "by the book" but if it's a rule that doesn't make sense in the moment then I will make a judgement call. If there is a good enough argument for it I will "rule of cool" a decision.

I deal with rules issues by...
Either looking it up or making a sensible judgement call in the moment. Whichever keeps the game flowing better.
If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Jim Butcher. There is so much about his fantasy world that I love and am inspired by. His work has already helped me better play several different creature types.
My games focus on...
Unique combat and learning lore in a unique way. I don't give you 30 page PDF with world lore. I make your characters live it! my combat encounters, puzzles, and dungeons are made specifically to reflect the lore of the land, and lets you learn it as you play.
