About Samantha B.
I’ve been Dungeon Mastering Dungeons & Dragons since 2018, with a passion for creating original adventures where players are encouraged to roleplay, get creative, and make the story their own. Homebrew is at the heart of what I do. Every one-shot, mini-campaign, and short campaign I run is written by me, allowing me to create a wide variety of adventures—from ridiculous comedy and chaotic fun to mysteries, horror, high-stakes action, and everything in between. At my table, my biggest priority is making sure everyone is having fun and gets a chance to participate. I take a flexible approach to the rules and love when players think outside the box. Rather than looking for the "right" solution, I want players to feel comfortable experimenting, making unexpected choices, and seeing where the story takes us. I also design my games to be easy to fit into real life. Not everyone has the time—or wants—to commit to a campaign that could run for the next two years. My one-shots tell a complete adventure in a single session, my mini-campaigns run for just four sessions, and even my longest short campaigns are designed to wrap up within about three months. Whether you have one free night or you're looking for a complete campaign experience without a years-long commitment, my goal is the same: give you a memorable adventure, a complete story, and a table where you can have fun playing D&D.

I got started GMing...
I started DMing because I love collaborative storytelling. It’s a way to bring the worlds and characters in my head to life while building adventures together with players through shared creativity and imagination.
How Samantha B. runs games
*Narrative Focus:* With a passion for immersive storytelling, my Dungeon Mastering style emphasizes narrative-driven games. I strive to create compelling story arcs that captivate players and immerse them in a world rich with depth and intrigue. *Roleplaying Intensity:* A firm believer in the power of roleplaying, I bring characters to life through vivid descriptions and, when needed, character voices. This roleplaying-heavy approach fosters a dynamic and interactive gaming experience, allowing players to truly inhabit their roles. *Character Voices:* To enhance the immersive quality of the game, I frequently employ character voices. Whether it's a gruff dwarf or a cunning rogue, each character has a distinct voice that adds a layer of authenticity and fun to the storytelling. *Homebrewing Expertise:* My Dungeon Mastering extends into the realm of homebrewing, where creativity knows no bounds. I design custom elements, from unique creatures to tailored magic items, injecting an element of unpredictability and excitement into the gameplay. If you're looking for a Dungeon Master who weaves narratives, prioritizes roleplaying, utilizes character voices, and embraces the art of homebrewing to create a truly personalized gaming experience, let's collaborate for unforgettable adventures. Samantha B.'s ideal table
My ideal table is fun, respectful, collaborative, and just a little chaotic. Teamwork is important to me, but I also love players who bring creativity to the table, think outside the box, and aren't afraid to take risks or try the ridiculous idea that just might work. I love rewarding clever solutions and unexpected approaches. You don't always have to find the "right" answer—sometimes the most memorable moments come from the plan nobody saw coming. New and nervous players are always welcome at my table! You don't need years of experience or an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules. If you're willing to participate, work with your fellow players, and be open to the crazy ideas and antics that come with D&D, you'll fit right in. At the end of the day, I want a table where everyone gets to contribute, everyone gets their moment to shine, and we all walk away with a story worth remembering.
