About Rythem
Hi, I'm Rythem. If you're looking for an experienced GM who is passionate about working with his players to tell a story...hi. Stories of mystery, epic adventure, deception, and maybe even a little romance. I've been storytelling since I was a young man, and have gone on to make it my career to help others tell their stories as well. Working with my players to give their voices a framework with which to build on is what I believe the ultimate calling of a GM is. Join me as we create worlds, or destroy them.

I got started GMing...
About a year after I started playing D&D our dungeon master already needed a break. I stepped into the role, and haven't left since. I love the storytelling. I love being the world my players interact with. I love the look on my player's faces when their backstory bad guy shows up. It's the best.
My favorite books are
Anything fiction. Preferably fantasy. Give me some Jim Butcher or Brandon Sanderson and I'm a happy guy. Otherwise I'm usually nose deep in a Monster Manual of some sort.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...

How Rythem runs games
My GM style can be boiled down simply to running cool games with a lot of fun both in front of and behind the GM screen. I especially enjoy high fantasy settings, either printed or homebrewed, but almost any nerd genre will do. I prefer to work with my players to create stories. Epic tales of adventure, quirky fun one-shots, backstory integration into the larger narrative, or discovering your character as we go. However you like to play, I like to GM. As for my expectations of my players, it's fairly simple. Treat your fellow players, and myself, with respect and decency, and everything will be great. Bullying won't be tolerated. If not corrected when asked, a player acting in such a manner will be removed from the table and will not be refunded. What you can expect from me is much the same. I will treat you with the respect you deserve. I will do my utmost to provide an enjoyable time and a continuing story with your help.
