About me

Hello lovely people, my name is Rowan (none/they); professional writer, educator, and GM with over a dozen years of experience across a variety of systems and genres. Fantasy, horror, and superheroes are my bread and butter, but I've been know to dip my toes in the scifi and steam/eco/cyber/diesel punk pools here and there. Safety tools are mandatory for all games, and I will not tolerate those who do not make space for marginalized peoples. With that said, I can't wait to see you at my table!

GM Style

As a GM, I try to prioritize social roleplay and engaging stories over RAW, and there's nothing I love more than seeing a player invested in my world. According to my players, some of my specialties include: • Engaging and immersive NPCs to interact with • Writing stories where PCs and backstories matter • Improvisation and "encouraging constructive chaos" • Unique encounters that challenge expectations of new & veteran players I hope that's enough to get you a seat at the table!
