About Robotic

My name is Jake, but also known as the Robotic Dungeon Master. I've been playing DND for about 9-10 years and have played with well over a thousand players. I love to use maps, music, and images for certain characters for my games to help explain and visualize things for my players. I love to use voices while playing as NPCs and I'm very open to teaching people in how to play DND; I've taught it so many times I wrap my head around every nook and cranny! from my skills as a Dungeon Master, I've even created a DND Community of 1200+ members in VRChat under DND Recruitment. My Experience: I've taught, trained and played with thousands of players, with over 3000+ hours as a dungeon master. The image on my avatar was created by one of my DND players named 'Myst Matthias', who accepts commissions for drawings. I wanted to start hosting games to give players an opportunity to never be with a 'Nightmare Dungeon Master'. My dream is to ensure we all create a wonderful (maybe even a hilarious) story together. I'm often very open and can work with most things. My goal is to ensure all of us are having fun! I decided to make my games at a very low cost. Despite myself spending countless months in my world, I still feel as if anyone should be able to afford my games. So I often keep them from $5 - 10 making them very affordable. I always love meeting new players and character ideas; I'm very welcoming and kind to those that wish for just a decent DM. You can be rest assured to be able to talk to me about anything. Even if those things aren't necessarily game-related. You maybe paying for my games, but you also maybe meeting a friend! Why pick me as your dungeon master? I got started GMing...

I started to DM DND 5e back around 2014 - 2015, but didn't start to seriously get into it until around 2017 when my girlfriend got me back into the game. I started to get very good at it, and knew the system like the back of my hand. People started to love my games, so I just kept doing it.

How Robotic runs games

My GM style is providing voices, using maps and using music for background theme and aesthetic. But most importantly I prioritize roleplaying, and often reward amazing roleplay scenes with DM Inspiration. There are very few things that I will disagree with, but I also don't take smack from nobody! And will always try to find a awesome way to create a story with my players.

I often focus on Story and Roleplay. Occasional Combat but when it happens, combat can get rather intense.
