About Robert H Reaper
My roleplaying experience began when I was 15, 30 years ago, when my brother brought 2nd edition d&d back from the army. Even though it was just us playing, I had a lot of fun as I would build entire groups of characters and play all of them. In a way that was my first step towards becoming a DM. I was always good at keeping many characters in mind and switching between them easily. A few years later I joined my, then, permanent group; which was very hack and slash in nature. I would always play rp heavy characters like rogues and bards; as I cared more about story than combat. About ten years later I left the group after a few Red Flags were crossed in a severe way, which they didn't wish to correct. (SA in a game, and I was targeted because I was not okay with it.) After leaving the group, I started my own group as the DM. Eventually life took that group apart, but it got me really into DMing. I started running play by post games on my Discord and have DM'd at conventions a few times. Nowadays I have three loves, Roleplaying, Discgolf, and Poker; and spend all my available time learning and growing in each of these. For my intended campaigns; I seek to start with what I know first; Discord and running either my existing campaign of several modules; running from lv 1 to 20, or to build a custom campaign for the group after asking a series of questions to create the world with a bit of everything the players want to see. I appreciate your time and hope to hear back soon.

I once ran a session...
with 9 players, half of which were kids. One of the kids got their hands on a reality altering wand; there were soooo many summoned chickens lol.
I prep by
Building maps on Arkenforge and NPCs on Heroforge. I also pre-plan my 'random' encounters, so that when the group goes to areas, the encounters are already ready for them.
When it comes to voices
I can do mannerisms and slang, but am lacking when it comes to changing pitch and tone.
Robert H Reaper's ideal table
My table is usually filled with happiness and laughter. I focus on having fun and the rule of cool. Players that fit in well with me are those that like to rp their actions; from disliking a cup of coffee to stabbing an Orc. I prefer pbp because it allows for people to take their time to action and make decisions without the pressure of a clock.

I love it when a player
does something unique and unexpected. I am very rule of cool and love bending (or sometimes breaking) the rules and use many custom made creatures and items.
I think it's a red flag when players...
perform SA. This is what caused me to leave my longterm group and begin DMing myself. The group ignored my protest and even turned on me, threatening to kill my character. I eventually left the friend group as well.
I think min/maxing...
is perfectly fine as long as you rp your character. The weaknesses of a character is as possible for rp moments as the strengths. The dumb barbarian shouldn't be spewing Shakespeare and the heavy Con Cleric should take time to work out and maintain his endurance.
