About me
At my table, I have two things over any rule in any book. 1) Comfort 2) Fun In that order. As a general rule of thumb I run my games to me collaborative and lighthearted experiences. I love players that are creative and imaginative, and willing to roll with punches. When building my worlds and scenarios, I often like to take a look at some of the mundane problems of our life through a fantastical and often comedic lean. I favour the off beat and out of the box concepts and themes. Though I have a history with running D&D stretching back to 3.5, I have recently been branching out and exploring what other systems have to offer. I find myself especially fond of Monster of the Week and PBtA esque games. I'm hoping that you'll join me in lots of new adventures in new lands. I have little tolerance for real world phobias and bigotry, though I am not afraid to broach the subjects in my games with appropriate tact. Typically those who embody real world hatred find themselves the butt of a broader cosmic joke or ill fate in my world. After all, everyone loves a good villain and I am no different. However, at large I like to keep a tone that can let us take a breather from the stresses of the world and rarely will I make a test intentionally impossible or unnecessarily difficult. If you've read this far and are still on board then I'm confident that you'll have some fun at my table. Send me a message if you have questions, comments or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you and playing with you!
GM Style
I trend towards lighter systems with more roleplay opportunity or systems that handle combat or conflict in interesting ways. When I do run something heftier like 5e, I will often go off book with rules if it's cool or if I just don't like a rule. If you're a stickler about math and rules, then my table probably isn't for you. I like using visual aids for scene setting and will typically provide that over Discord. When I need grid maps and tokens, I use Owlbear Rodeo. I sometimes ask for face claims, art, picrews, etc of characters to incorporate, though not always. My goals for a session are to make sure that everyone is having fun, and that we can come together to build a story.

Playing The Haunting of the Poppy Poltergeist with Lor was so so fun! They put in so many little clues that tie the story in so nicely. The world and characters were thoughtful and interesting. I had never used discord before and Lor was willing to walk me through everything. Lor had custom sheets to make character creation easy and super fun! During the game they let me lean into my character and make creative (sometimes dubious) choices. I would definitely love to join another one of their games.
Lor ran a light-hearted homebrew Monster of the Week mystery game with a host of interesting characters. They've provided very clear story telling and character voices, and clear rules interpretation for an MOTW first-timer. The scenario was tightly written, with everything we attempted seemingly taken into account. As a GM, they have a funny and reactive style resulting in a an effortlessly pleasant game. Recommended.
It was a long time since I last played MotW, and since this was my first game in a while, I was nervous. Luckily, I had an amiable Keeper, Lor, that helped me feel at ease and prepared during character creation and in-game. The one-shot I played in was a fun time, and I was glad that I got back into the game with this one. It was a fun little Saturday morning, Scooby-Doo style mystery, the plot was small-scale but still interesting and entertaining from start to finish, and the Keeper was good and easy to work with to set up a good character and get the ball rolling. If you're a new player and want to start with something breezy, or if you just want a nice little dose of MotW, I'd definitely recommend Lor.
