About Red Beard
I’m a Game Master built for storytellers. With a deep love for narrative, roleplay, and the craft of television writing, I treat every session like a writers’ room. My table is a place where character arcs matter, plot twists hit hard, and the “camera” loves a good dramatic close-up. My greatest thrill isn’t just crafting the world—it’s turning the players loose in it. I live for the moment the story stops being mine and becomes ours, shaped by the incredible ways you and your character choose to interact with it.

How Red Beard runs games
Collaboration over competition. This is a shared writers’ room, not a solo adventure. I don't run PVP unless every single person at the table has enthusiastically opted in. Discomfort stops the scene. Trust keeps the story moving. Safety as a creative tool. We use Lines & Veils from Session Zero. You tell me what's off-limits (line) and what can fade to black (veil). No explanations needed. No judgment. This lets us explore intense, meaningful stories without anyone feeling exposed. Rules serve the story. I know the rules, but I'll bend or pause them for a great narrative moment. If we disagree on a call, we talk it out after the session -- your voice matters. At the table, we keep momentum. A seat for everyone, but not every style. My table is warm, collaborative, and character-driven. If you love tactical mini-maxing or PVP chaos, I'm probably not your GM. If you love getting lost in who your character is and how they change the world -- and the world changes them -- you're home.
