About Corbin

Hello adventures! I'm Corbin / Zabuza Raven, and for the last three years, I've been crafting immersive, unforgettable worlds for in-person gaming groups. Over that time, I have curated a massive, sprawling library of official D&D sourcebooks, ancient adventure modules, and legendary lore tomes. Now, I am bringing that entire collection-and my passion for storytelling-online to share with players all over the world! My games are all about player agency, rich narrative exploration, and tactical excitement. Whether we are sneaking through treacherous Dalelands or facing down ancient monsters, my goal is to give you a safe, thrilling space to become the hero of your own epic story.

I became a GM because

I walked into my local game store looking for a table to join. The owner said "No DM's but I have two players looking. Why not start your own?" Now, I moderate a Discord for four tables every Wednesday night -running my own and watching tons of adventurers claim glory!

How Corbin runs games

I'd say there are 4 things to note. First, The Ultimate Digital Library: When you join my campaigns, you get full content-sharing access to my massive D&D Beyond Collection. Most official subclass, spell, and background is right at your fingertips for character creation; as well some unofficial too! Second, Seamless Digital Play: We will be using the official D&D Beyond Maps VTT combined with Discord for crystal-clear voice. This means no complicated external setups-just load your character sheet, roll your digital dice, and watch your token move across the map instantly. Third, Immersive Storytelling: I love weaving your character's backstory directly into the campaign world. Your choices will permanently shape the history and politics of the setting. And Final, Rules-Lite, Fun-First: I run games using newly updated D&D 5.5e (2024) rules, focusing on smooth pacing, tactical weapon masteries, and rule-of-cool creativity over rigid micromanagement.

I once ran a session...

For 8 hours! I had been running a level 1-2 adventure for 4 players online. Well, when the first chapter was closing the players were overjoyed with leveling up and their new abilities, they asked if I'd be willing to keep going. For my players I'd do almost anything including an 8-hour session!
