How Quests For All runs games
As a GM I promote the 3 pillars or game play: Exploration, Social-Interaction & Combat in equal measure. I also draw upon 'The Monsters Know What They're Doing' resource. This means every game includes creatures with a voice, personality, motives and meaning. Environmental and physical obstructions to overcome in the form of lava, water, the arctic, thunder storms etc... Traps of varying forms and puzzles that can be completed through wit, magic or brute force. Villains have goals and could be persuaded through clever role-play or monologue as they attempt to complete their own agenda. NPC's have a variation of voices and personality traits who also have their own dreams, hopes and wishes. Any player can progress any of these virtues or help another player to do so.
