About Nina
š Hi! Iām Nina, a Chilean Dungeon Master with over 10 years of experience running Dungeons & Dragons 5e, and currently exploring new game systems as well. Whether youāre brand new to the game or a seasoned adventurer, I aim to create a welcoming space full of exciting encounters, collaborative storytelling, and laughter. I especially love helping beginners learn the ropes and discover the magic of roleplay. š¬ With me as your DM, you can expect: - A supportive, friendly, and flexible game master - A focus on your goals, character arcs, and fun - A safe and inclusive table for everyone - A sprinkle of silliness, when appropriate! I run games in English or Spanish (Ā”tambiĆ©n hablo espaƱol!), so if you're looking for an adventure in either language, you're in the right place. š² Kindness, camaraderie, and creativity are my guiding stars. Letās roll some dice and tell some amazing stories together!

How Nina runs games
š Roleplaying is where I shine! I love bringing NPCs to life through fun voices, unique tones, weird backstories, and sometimes even accents. I thrive on weaving character backstories into the main plot, tying them all together to make the world feel alive and personal to the players. Iām a big fan of the Rule of Coolāif something sounds awesome and fits within the bounds of game mechanics, Iāll find a way to make it happen. My priority is always that youāre having a great time. If something adds fun and energy to the session, Iām here for it. š§ āļø I enjoy mixing in puzzles, challenges, and combat that keep you thinking and adaptingābut I donāt believe in punishing players or designing battles meant to wipe the party. The goal is tension and excitement, not frustration. š£ And most importantly: I LOVE teaching new players! Whether itās helping you create your character, guiding you through leveling up, or explaining mechanics as they come upāIāll walk you through every step with patience and clarity. Youāll always understand the what, why, and how of your rolls, and Iāll be there with advice when you need it. If you're looking for a GM who blends wholesome storytelling, team collaboration, GM guidance, and a touch of theatrical flairāI'm your gal!

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
So I asked my players if my games were movies, who would they be directed by and their answers are: - Hayao Miyazaki for the wholesome content - Michael Bay for the explosions and cinematics - Robert Zemeckis for the fun and quality - Dave Filoni for the worldbuilding and depth
I once ran a session...
so wild that I ended up with my face and tummy hurting from so much laughter, as well as my players!
Rules are...
only guidelines and an open discussion. If they're not enjoyable, they can be talked about and adjusted. I also love adding custom mechanics based on players' wishes and goals. Everything is a possibility!
Nina's ideal table
My ideal table includes respect, fun, lots of laughter, lots or roleplay, and sharing pictures of our pets. If you enjoy dad jokes, challenging combats, silly NPCs, and some weird but funny stuff, you'll fit right in! The players I fondly remember the most were people with whom I connected during our time playing together. Most of them are now longtime friends. Some even attended my wedding! It doesn't matter if you feel like you won't fit on the table because you're shy or don't know how to playāyou are still warmly welcome, and I can absolutely help you learn to play.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Ghibli, Stardew Valley, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Against the Storm, Terraria, Skyrim, Valheim, Thea: the Awakening, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Castlevania
I love it when a player
brings unheard-of ideas to the table! I love rewarding great ideas, even if there's no rule or game mechanic for it. If it sounds amazing, it WILL be amazing!
I think min/maxing...
is absolutely fine! There's nothing bad with trying to optimize your character to their best potential. All I ask is that you keep party dynamics in mind when doing so. Will your perfect build hurt or help the party to achieve your goals?
