About Mr. Hughes
Hello thank you for checking my profile. If your reading this you might be asking why this Dm and these games. I have +9,000 hours of roleplay and GMing experience. I know how to enchant and kindle the imagination of players. Games are designed around the players' playing styles. During the first session, we will have a discussion as a group and determine what the expectations are for roleplay frequency, combat frequency, and play style, so by the 2nd session, everything will be tailored to the group's wants. I strive to ensure each player feels heard and has a genuine impact on the unfolding narrative. Whether you live for intense role-play, thrilling battles, or creative problem-solving, you’ll find a warm, open environment where you can shine.

I deal with rules issues by...
Spending 2 minutes looking up the rule, if it can't be found in that time, I will make a ruling. The most important rule is that we have fun and that game play flows naturally.
Rules are...
The foundation of all TTRPGs, and gives us the framework to build some of the most fantastic worlds and stories. However, any good Dungeon Master knows that Jack Sparrow put it best: "The pirates' code is more like guidelines than actual rules."
Mr. Hughes's ideal table
My personal favorite kind of party is one that is more adventure and travel focused with roleplay and combat in equal measure.
