About me

I love RPGs because they let us get together as fun, creative people; we interact, tell jokes, solve problems and roll dice. It's great! I've played RPGs since the mid 1990s. I've played D&D, World of Darkness, Shadowrun, Star Trek, Star Wars, Fading Suns, Lord of the Rings, Call of Cthulhu, and the list goes on. I love the creativity and variety of RPGs.

GM Style

As a GM, I believe that a good story or module is focused on PCs. It is my job to bring the world around those PCs to life. I like to do that with voices. Expect lots of voices. I try to encourage a laid-back, supportive and cohesive environment that encourages playing a group of characters together. I like characters who make choices that may not be optimized or the most strategic decisions. I don't like characters who try to cause trouble within the group or use role-playing as an excuse to have a character who is a jerk to the other characters. Some conflict and tension between PCs is good, but they should still all generally and genuinely want to get along. I'm pretty much Lawful Good (it's even my license plate), so expect me to stick to the rules for the most part. I don't know them all, and I may waive or modify them if it fits the story and the drama.
