About LordTank (Sebastian)
I've been running tabletop roleplaying games for over 10 years and have been a player for more than 15. While most of my experience is with Pathfinder First Edition, I've also spent the last several years running a long-term home campaign using a hybrid of Pathfinder and D&D 5e. My passion lies in creating memorable stories, exciting encounters, and a table where players feel empowered to think creatively. My GM style is flexible and collaborative. I enjoy rewarding clever ideas and embracing the "rule of cool" when it enhances the story. If you can explain what your character is trying to accomplish, I'll work with you to find a fair and fun way to bring it to life. I strive to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where players can immerse themselves in adventure, roleplay, and the occasional bit of chaos that makes tabletop gaming so memorable. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to the hobby, my goal is to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience and leaves the table with stories worth telling. Beyond the game itself, one of the things I cherish most about this hobby is sharing it with others. I've been teaching my 9-year-old son how to play, and I hope to help inspire the next generation of adventurers to discover the same love for storytelling and imagination that has brought so much joy to my own life.

I got started GMing...
because I wanted to finish the campaign I first started, and have now started but never finished, six times.
My favorite books are
Faith of the Fallen, though any Sword of Truth Series book. Complete Work of Shakespeare
When I'm not running games I'm...
camping, gaming, paddleboarding, and hanging out with my family and our many animals. I am also going to school, and watching the world burn.
How LordTank (Sebastian) runs games
I like GMing to my players' playing style. If you prefer a more role-playing experience with less combat, let's work it out. If you wish for a heavy combat style, where you are just minimized in your talking with NPCs, let's go dungeon diving. My main goal, though, is for EVERYONE to be involved. I have even rolled Initiative, so "turns" are taken for Roleplaying, that way not one person is over-taking. Communication is key. If you want to see or do something, let's talk it out and have fun.

I deal with rules issues by...
bringing it to a majority rule. How does this rule best support the gameplay, and does everyone agree with its interpretation? If a majority of the table can't agree, then my original ruling stands.
My games focus on...
my players. I want them to have enjoyable experiences and memorable moments, from shopping at the local market to battling goblins. Any session is a session for that standout moment in every player's campaign.
When it comes to voices
I love playing around with dialects and NPCs. I still struggle with multiple NPCs talking to each other, but I love doing one on one communications with PCs
LordTank (Sebastian)'s ideal table
Orderly Chaotic!! I love having fun. I usually set up a campaign as a main questline, but I also love playing open-world side quests. I mostly love learning with new players, since they are more likely to look around the rules to have fun game experiences.

I love it when a player
gets into their character. Makes choices, and actions based of what their PC would do, not what "should be done to win the game"
I think metagaming...
is the complete opposite of what RPGs were created for, and I really don't allow it at my table.
My table is not the place for...
your audacity! We are all here for different reasons, with different gaming experiences and different backgrounds. Nothing makes you better
