Hi im Blas, though i go by Vertion online, I have been playing and GMimg Dungeons and Dragons for close to 10 years now, but in spite of all the stories i have seen and told, i do think i have many more still left yet to tell. In general i prefer to make and use my own material and i have much left to learn on Foundry VTT which has recently become my platform of choice. Besides D&D, i have interest in the Legend of the 5 Rings TTRPG, as well as Avatar Legends.

How Alban Vertion runs games

My favorite part of DMing is worldbuilding and mapmaking, creating the spaces where adventure unfolds. Whenever possible, at least for D&D i do like to stay all in the same world as time keeps moving forward so that choices made in previous campaigns continue to impact the present. To that end, a very important part of it is roleplaying with characters reacting to events of the past and making them, i think, more alive in that way.

Inventing or repurposing cool new elements to the world, and finding a way to use or incorporate them, sometimes something as simple as a cool name that comes to mind has inspired whole countries' worth of worldbuilding.

The tools by which we ply this trade, but more on the side of guidelines than strict rules, so long as we all agree in the end.

When it comes to voices

I am somewhat proud of my own, i try to give character voices, though i have sometimes confused some of them when there are too many character, not gonna lie.
