About Rachel

I've been exposed to TTRPGs since I was little, playing them since I was a teenager and running them for around two years. My first system as a player was one of the many editions of D&D, but I prefer to run rules-lite systems. I'm currently a convention GM for a few systems including Paranoia, Defy the Gods, and DarkSpace. Oneshots are where I shine, and I try to make sure everyone's having a good time.

My favorite system of all Time is

DIE RPG, with nearly anything Powered by the Apocalypse coming in a very close second.

When I'm not running games I'm...

reading books, playing games with friends, and doing library work!

How Rachel runs games

My goal is for everyone to enjoy crafting a story together. I focus on rules-lite systems and enjoy letting player creativity shine, whether that's in combat or in roleplay.

Featured Prompts

Rules are...

guidelines and guardrails for play. Rules can be bent, but not broken - they exist for a reason. If the rules don't allow something, then a different TTRPG might be a better fit for doing that thing.

Rachel's ideal table

I love engaging with my players and building a story together as a table - I don’t avoid combat, but the focus is on character interactions and roleplay.

Featured Prompts

I love it when a player

has ideas on how their character's threads can weave into the tapestry of the larger story!
