About Callum McLean
Hey yall! I've been a forever DM for a while now and I realized that most new players I met were wonderful people and brought their own fun to DM'ing so I thought what better use of time than to DM for people I know nothing about. I love working with players to build the type of experience they are looking for. Im excited to meet all of you and of course I mean all, folks of any walks of life are welcome at the table so long as ya don't bring any hate <3

I became a GM because
I became a GM because I love more than anything tossing someone something and seeing how they deal with it with creative and energetic solutions which I used to do through improv but DnD was much more suited to me.
How Callum McLean runs games
Im at the table to have a real cooperative story with my players so naturally my favorite thing is when players flip the script on me and do something unexpected. I consider games to be a good balance between combat and RP but I like to make encounters challanging but I haven't had a TPK yet! (except in mork borg)

I deal with rules issues by...
There' a lot of ways to deal with this problem when it arises but most often than not, im going with the rule of cool. If there is just a misunderstanding about how the rules work Ill correct it and move on but if you wanna do something a little outside the rules that' where stories are really made.
Callum McLean's ideal table
My tables really promote creative problem solving, intrigue, and most importantly, some good RP. I love a good combat and work to make them thrilling and actually challenging. Above all I love collaborating with my players to make something special, whether that is through dramatic scenes pertaining to your backstory or a silly back and forth with an NPC, making the game WITH the player instead of for them is what I love most.
