About me

Hello there! Since I was a small child I have always been enamored with storytelling; and from the age of 16, when I was handed my first character sheet for D&D 3.5, I've loved TTRPG's. Over a decade later and I am an actor and indie filmmaker based out of NYC (a couple awards under my belt to show for it) and I have never stopped playing them. By now I have played/learned to run a plethora of games. (D&D, Dungeon World, BitD, MotW, etc) I love running games in styles from High Fantasy to Cyberpunk, from Comic book/Anime style to Noir, from Light hearted romps to White knuckle stress fests. As an avid lover of horror since I could walk, I love infusing my campaigns with moments of terror. Sometimes even running full dark fantasy or horror campaigns. Regardless of what style or flavor the game has, I strive for player buy-in and emotional journeys and catharsis in every game I run. Laughter and tears, highs and lows. You're getting it all! I do in person games as well as online!

GM Style

I'm an actor as a career so RP is a big part of my games, replete with character voices in a variety of dialects and accents. My style tends to lean more cinematic in flavor. A phrase I've heard many times at the table is "This would look so cool animated!" When it comes to combat I usually ascribe to the idea that a hard-won victory is far more rewarding than a victory being handed to you on a silver platter. That being said, I am a fan of difficult and tactical combat. Don't worry though, my combat encounters don't lose the cinematic flavoring. I'm rooting for you in every encounter, so I do my part to describe (or sometimes help *you* describe) your actions in grandiose fashion. I encourage my players to think outside the box and to use creative problem solving. I'm almost always ready and willing to go with whatever craziness my players throw at me.
