About me

Hello! I live in Utah, enjoy being outside camping, hiking, etc, and I have 3 awesome kids. I am a circus ringleader (Stay at Home Dad) and wouldn't have it any other way. I love playing board games, and have really enjoyed learning D&D 5e, and running that for a group locally. As a stay at home dad, I have time available during the day, and thought it would be awesome to offer some mid-day games to scratch that D&D itch. I am relatively new to the game, but I have dived in deep, and would love to help other new players develop an interest in the game, or allow veterans to enjoy a fun session slashing their way through a dungeon. I worked for 3 years in the classroom helping 7th-12th grade students with special ed, and behavior disorders, and I have also volunteered countless hours with the youth at the church I attend, so I am very comfortable around teens. I would love to host a game for teens!

GM style

I really enjoy DMing, and have had lots of fun and success with my local group, and some online games (including a regular campaign that lasted a few months (LMoP)) I enjoy the combat aspect of the game the most, but definitely like the social interactions with NPCs and Townsfolk. I try using voices, but they tend to all meld into the same accent. I am getting better at that. I try to run the Rules as Written, but the Rule of Cool makes the games fun, and I will usually allow things if it makes reasonable sense.
