About Jimothy
Howdy! My name is Jimothy and I’ve been a GM for 6 years and counting. When it comes to TTRPGs, my specialty is running science-fantasy adventures with tough tactics and villainous conspiracies. Using FoundryVTT, I set the stage with sights and sounds while cutting down on the overhead for both me and you. Around here, you’ll probably find me running Lancer for both new and veteran players. Besides Lancer, I’ve also got an interest in Draw Steel, Shadowdark, and FIST! If you have questions, or want to talk to me about custom games, contact me! How Jimothy runs games
The GM’s most important job is pacing, whether in the heat of battle or the intrigue of politics, I’ll be doing my best to make sure things never fall stagnant. In a typical game, I reserve maps for fights or puzzles, and leave scenery up to the theater of mind. I also prefer to resolve things logically, only calling upon the dice when the players have lost control of the situation. It sucks to craft a perfect lie, only to have the d20 say you botched the deception check!
