About Jessica Phoenix
Hi, I'm Jess and I wanna run your next game! If you crave memorable voices, non-traditional adventures, dramatic tension, explosive combat, and puzzles, I'm your girl. Cosmic horror and cyberpunk are my specialties, but I have a ton of experience in fantasy/horror settings. You can count on a reliable game every time with enthusiastic players and an over-the-top game master who's a total drama queen. I've run over a thousand paid games, and I'm comfortable with players of all skill levels. These tables are a safe space. Player experience is extremely important: you're not going to feel unsafe or uncomfortable at the table due to clear expectations and a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination. I stand by my player reviews, as my players have stood by me throughout my transition. If you’re not cool with that, there are plenty of other tables out there. Are you ready to take the first step of your next adventure? I'm available for private bookings starting at $30/hour. Let's talk!

Creative, memorable, diva.
How Jessica Phoenix runs games
I'm an improv-heavy game master who follows the game model of playing to discover what happens, even when a story is ready to go. Players are encouraged to contribute to the narrative and world. Roleplay is encouraged but never enforced; play to your comfort level. I love off-the-wall mashups, cute moments, and unique settings. My games often reference Nintendo, anime, and pop culture. I’m the creator of Null, a cosmic horror cyberpunk setting steeped in intersectional queer, feminist, anti-capitalist tales that would make HP Lovecraft spin in his grave. If the idea of a Strixhaven time loop based on Community's paintball episode and Majora's Mask sounds fun, it was. How about a Pulp Cthulhu: Left 4 Dead/Always Sunny in Philadelphia mashup where the gang becomes special infected at Paddy’s Pub? Ravnica: Teenage Mutant Ninja Tortles, Coruscant: Holocron Heist, Strahd: Dead and Loving It, Battle Royale: Valachan, and dozens of other loving crafted unique adventures showcase my love of unique gaming experiences.

I think it's a red flag when players...
Steamroll others or make people uncomfortable.
I think min/maxing...
Is probably best served at another table. I have experience with it, and it’s a valid form of play. I’m better suited for drama and narrative.
My table is not the place for...
Bigotry or small-mindedness. Period
