About Thomas Jarvis
Hey folks! My name is Thomas Jarvis and I'm from the North west United States (Idaho). I 'm currently stationed in Fl and am serving my 6th year active duty in the US Army! I come from a military background and love creating collaborative, tactical, and memorable scenarios with my players. I'm just as excited to see where the story goes as you are! And yes, I do enjoy coming up fun NPC voices as well 😜 I love fun and creative roleplay scenarios, intense tactical combat, and a thrilling character adventure! In real life I'm a communications specialist in the US Army, this means that I tend to help people understand new skills and tricks for computers and radios, and because of this I'm excited to run games for all players and would love to teach new players. There's nothing like that first adventure beyond the wire! Everyone is welcome at my game table, and I expect all players to keep it a safe space where we can have fun and take risks together regardless of nationality, gender, religion, or orientation. The goal is to have FUN and escape the real world for a few hours! You are absolutely welcome here 🤟💚💛🧡 Now let's roll some dice! 🎲🙀🙊😮

I got started GMing...
I started GMing D&D because I loved the game—but also because I was struggling with alcohol. Creating worlds and showing up for my players gave me purpose and helped me heal. It became more than a hobby—it was a way to reconnect with myself.
My favorite shows/movies are
Dr who, Starwars (The OG ONES!), Star Trek, and the Big Bang Theory and the spinoff shows.
When I'm not running games I'm...
When I’m not GMing, I’m out shooting, fishing, wrenching on my ‘85 Firebird, or serving active duty in the Army. I like staying sharp, hands-on, and always up for a challenge—on or off the battlefield.
How Thomas Jarvis runs games
I enjoy every part of DND, I remember my first DnD game and how the GM assisted me in learning the ropes. This sticks with me, and I will always help new players. I love doing the different voices and engaging in dialogue with players. I'm very welcoming of all DnD players, no matter what stage of player they are! My goal is for you to have fun! I will make it challenging enough for you to feel involved, but reasonable enough for you to use your ideas and your teammates to make plans and have a fun campaign!
