My partner and I are beginners to D&D, and Jam has made the experience a lot of fun, and has been patient and understanding with our anxiety and lack of knowledge, always willing to answer our questions and help us understand. Just like the reviews before ours have said, the voice acting and character development is wonderful, and we’ve become attached to a lot of the NPCs because Jam gives them so much life. We very much look forward to each session and it always ends with laughter and feeling like we accomplished something, even if it was only learning the correct way to grow onions. We definitely would recommend trying the experience for yourself!

Legendary. I have never had before, and will likely never have again a DM as good as Jam. His ability to create a world that the players feel a part of and deeply care about is unrivaled. Incorporating player backstories into the weave of the world, S+++ voice acting, and enhancing the module into something truly special. Jam's games are experiences you remember for the rest of your life.

Was my very first dnd campaign and by far exceeded my expectations. Jam the bard has the best voices and storytelling that make the whole experience surreal and immersive. The whole game was very beginner friendly and overall made my week everytime we played. A top tier experience, dm, and campaign.

I've played with Jam for the last three years both as a player and as a GM. He has an incredible skill for storytelling and character creation and the voices and accents he can do constantly amaze me. The worlds he narrates feel immersive and lived-in and the NPCs feel like full and motivated characters. When running encounters Jam makes them challenging and memorable, he does a wonderful job making the environment feel dynamic so combats are much more than just running up to the enemies and rolling dice. As a GM, he displays a brilliant balance in accommodating player skill level and gameplay style in a way that is consistently engaging. He communicates well both in-session and out of game to check-in with the group, and is adaptable to any feedback we might have about things in-game we want to do or directions we want to take our characters. Each character's backstory is woven into the fabric of the game narrative and the level of care and preparation he injects into each session is nothing short of amazing. I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to play in several games he's run. Players that enjoy a character driven story will fall in love with his sessions. He is, truly a fantastic collaborative storyteller. If you have the opportunity to experience a session I wholeheartedly recommend that you seize it.

JamtheBard is a fantastic DM. Thoughtful and well planned, but also prepared for the madcap antics of any TTRPG group. JamtheBard keeps a consistent pace and allows for exploration but keeps the plot close to the main focal point. JamtheBard also has a wide range of voice talent, allowing a player to sink into the world-building and feel the emersion. He loves to dive into a character's backstory, and use that to help motivate the character forward. As for rules, he is fair and balanced, will let you make a case for the "rule of cool," but never let anyone break a game. In the case of a debate, rules will be quickly considered, let the player make the case for anything they are trying to do, and a ruling is made and moved on so as not to disrupt the flow of the session or story. One of JamtheBard's most impressive integrations to his table is his inventive approach to combat. There's often an additional layer, a timer, an elemental disruption, a real-time puzzle, or some form of external stakes to help heighten the tension of a combat encounter and keep players engaged even when it is not their turn.

I was surprised when Jam said he wasn't a professional voice actor. Every NPC speaks with a different voice. Most distinct enough to recognize as a specific character. He added a voice modulator in our last session and made a prophecy frightening! His incredible voice work aside, Jam also happens to be a lovely man. He enjoys listening to his players roleplay in the world he curates. He fosters player creativity. Jam, above all, genuinely cares about the group dynamic and whether or not everyone is having fun.
