JamtheBard is a fantastic DM. Thoughtful and well planned, but also prepared for the madcap antics of any TTRPG group. JamtheBard keeps a consistent pace and allows for exploration but keeps the plot close to the main focal point. JamtheBard also has a wide range of voice talent, allowing a player to sink into the world-building and feel the emersion. He loves to dive into a character's backstory, and use that to help motivate the character forward. As for rules, he is fair and balanced, will let you make a case for the "rule of cool," but never let anyone break a game. In the case of a debate, rules will be quickly considered, let the player make the case for anything they are trying to do, and a ruling is made and moved on so as not to disrupt the flow of the session or story. One of JamtheBard's most impressive integrations to his table is his inventive approach to combat. There's often an additional layer, a timer, an elemental disruption, a real-time puzzle, or some form of external stakes to help heighten the tension of a combat encounter and keep players engaged even when it is not their turn.
