About me

Hey there! My name is Matrell, and I am an author, as well as the owner of a company called the Ahndrian Archives LLC. There and every day of my life I have always loved crafting worlds and various stories that have endless possibilities until I finally call it the end. I try to bring that sort of life to the stories I craft for Dungeons & Dragons by creating tales that offer creative freedom and a compelling story to follow. I primarily use the core 5e rules and core information for play rulings, but I always craft unique homebrew worlds and campaign stories for players to explore. In order to allow players the freedom to explore how they play and grow their character organically, I always enjoy talking with them about what kind of experiences they're looking for as we progress. Though I can't accommodate everything, it's just as much fun for me to craft homebrew materials that make the world more engaging for you. I'm always happy to assist new players learning the game and those who might be returning after some time away. I use Roll20 and D&D Beyond, both of which I have premium subscriptions, and Discord for communicating during and between sessions.

GM style

I tend to create stories and worlds that are designed to allow players the ability to discover almost anything they desire while challenging them during the story's progression. I create most maps myself, and I enjoy using unique voices for NPCs the characters may encounter. Sessions are designed to be immersive with music, images, and characters that grow in personality and depth as you interact with them and shape the world around you.
