About Caleb Kroeze
I started playing Dnd a few years back and quickly fell in love with the game's potential for creating memorable moments through immersive stories. I've been a songwriter and storyteller for years, and I've found that I'm able to use the same emotive story tactics and skills I've learned to tailor my games to best suit the moments my players are looking for. I look forward to getting to know you and your characters and crafting a unique story to fit your liking!

How Caleb Kroeze runs games
Roleplay: I highly value focusing on player character development, seeing where a character is and where the story might push them. I thoroughly enjoy finding ways to tie each character's backstory into the main plot. I love crafting challenges that can be solved through roleplay and dialogue. One of my favorite moments in a game I ran was when a player stopped a combat with a main villain by convincing them that they were just a pawn of the greater BBEG, and I love having dialogue that informs and challenges the PC's motivations as well. I would say I'm decent with having some variation for NPC voices, but don't expect any exotic accents ;P. Maybe someday I'll add that skill to my toolbelt. Combat: I enjoy rich combat and try to create mechanically interesting encounters tailored to the PC's unique abilities. I actually really enjoy when my players try to create powerful characters, but I also make sure to maintain the balance between different characters by being intentional with the magic items I hand out. I also really enjoy creating custom "homebrew" magic items for my players, so chances are, at some point in a campaign with me, you'll be getting a unique item built to fit the character you've created.
