About Hugo

I have been Dungeon master since the red box...I have played, D&D basics, 2nd edition, 3rd edition, Pathfinder...Sorry i skiped the 4th edition... I am new to Online play, but more than ready. I have invested more than 500 hrs in mastering Foudry VTT. I need players to get on board for a quite a ride. So far, i have completed 3 campains using Foundry vtt. I want my D&D to be challenging, entertaining and adult. I also insist on providing storytelling that is faithful, consistent with lore, rules, and world that came from the minds of multiples creators. Forgotten Realm is my playground, i am willing to play any campaign in this world. My DMing style : i love both great combat and roleplay. I think fantasy is about swords clashing and great villains. Were now being inspired by Game of throne more than Lord of The Ring. I take pride in organizing exciting encounters, using terrain features, and lighting. But also try to provide player with opportunities to use the full range of their character skills. I think the 5th edition shines because of the action system, and the magic mechanics which is efficient expansive...simply better. Finally, i also have been affected by the Mercer effect: I don’t claim getting close to his skill level, no one can, but he certainly is my inspiration. I have capacity to bring theatrical performance, if you are looking for more than just dungeon crawl. I know some of you of read «experienced DM» with scepticism, but i can guarantee you...you will feel to full extent of it. I am searching players for campains and on shots. J'ai jusqu'ici complété 3 campagnes de Donjon&dragon (sessions publques), toutes en français, en utilisant le tabletop foundry VTT. Cette plateforme est simplement la meilleure et la plus puissante pour Donjon&dragon. Son et images tout y est. Je passe énormément de temps à préparer mes sessions de jeu. (vous en avez pour votre argent...) Commençons par D&D, mais on pourrait s'aventurer dans l'Univers de Lovecraft et possiblement les Vampires... Joueurs francophones, contactez-moi !

How Hugo runs games

As written in the Players Handbook, strong D&D adventures rely on three pillars: Exploration, Social interaction and combat. I offer exciting balanced games based on the three pillars. I have been using foundry VTT, the most powerful VTT on the market, more than a thousand hours now. I use it with great effects! I also have serious acting skills. I can engage your characters with entertaining roleplay. Finally, D&D should be a haven for nerds. I love when players crack jokes. I love multidimensionnal players. The best players are neither min-maxers nor actors, they show both qualities. I'd rather have roleplayers than avatar players.
