About HomeBrewed Hobbies
Hey look another White guy with a beard! I have loved telling stories my whole life. If I could identify as any one video game character, it would be Deckard Cain. The power of storytelling can create more than just fun times. Amazing stories can create worlds and lifetimes beyond our standard narrative. Giving an escape into the depths of our creativity. As someone who has played and DM'd TTRPG's my whole life I am so excited to be sharing and creating more storied worlds and lore with the community that I know and love.

My favorite shows/movies are
Anything Fantasy. I love shows like "Rings of power" Movies like the Dark Crystal (and its follow up Tv show) I love when minds come together to develop and adapt worlds in various ways (even if they are controversial to some)
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Creative Intuitive Fun
When I'm not running games I'm...
Spending time with my Family and friends. Giving those around me the experience and ideas to help better their own creative itch.
How HomeBrewed Hobbies runs games
I love Role-play and try to relay that with in depth characters with a wide variety of backgrounds and voices. That being said I also love extreme Tactical games too, and you can see that in my postings with Deathwish. After all is said and done, I am always looking for the happy medium The best kind of tables are Tables where everyone is having fun doing the things they love!

I deal with rules issues by...
Rules issues are common in the world of TTRPG's I think that as long as everyone behaves in a fitting matter all things can be resolved through clear communication. as players, and as a DM It never hurts to take a moment to check a rule or vote on something and then revisit it at a later point.
Rules are...
Rules are Important to creating a structured game. The Most important rule though is that all players are having fun. It is with that base that a table can adjust accordingly.
When it comes to voices
Variety is the spice of life, and I try to bring that spice to my tables. The best part about voices is providing a range that makes you feel comfortable and sets the mood for adventure.
HomeBrewed Hobbies's ideal table
Coexistence is my ideal table. I want players and the DM alike to be sharing information building worlds and forging ahead to create a story that will go beyond just their notebooks. Breathing life into characters and imaginations alike.

I love it when a player
Creates meaningful connections to Npc's and other players in the party.
I think metagaming...
Can be useful when implemented properly. But it is key to understand that like all good TV shows. Not everyone likes spoilers.
I think min/maxing...
If you want to kill things. I am here for it. I love seeing intense builds that show effort and dedication on behalf of the Players.
