Hey thanks for stopping to check out my profile. I have been playing ttrpgs for about 15 years now and DMing for over 10 of those years. I love to create homebrew worlds where character choices and actions have real world consequences. I usually have equal parts of combat, exploration and role play.

A long list 🤣. I am currently reading the world of Brandon Sanderson (Cosmere). But I grew up on Anne Rice, Animorphs and Harry Potter. I love the Inheritance Cycle and look forward to reading Murtagh soon! Really all things fantasy... vampires, werewolves, witches, etc...
My favorite system of all Time is
FATE, it allows for so much creativity and role play. But I also love tabletop games like zombicide, pandemic and betrayal at house on the hill.

How Jim runs games
I definitely love role play, but I try to give make campaigns that focus equally on story, exploration, and combat. Depending on the group and the game this will be adjusted.

Role play first, exploration and lore second and combat when it makes sense. I won't throw combats at you for no reason they will make sense and be part of the story.

I try my hardest! Lol I'm no voice acter but I try to make it easy to recognize when different people are speaking.
Jim's ideal table
My ideal table is a group of respectful people that enjoy playing games and exploring worlds together. I am very easy going as long as everyone is respectful. Live by the Golden rule: treat others as you wish to be treated.

Lore, mysteries, or role play
I love it when a player
Puts together the clues to figure out the next piece of the puzzle. My campaigns tend to be mysteries to solve and finding the clues to put them together, and there is no better feeling for me than when someone suddenly shoots "omg it's been this thing for this reason all a long!".
My table is not the place for...
Mean people or bigots. Everyone deserves respect, plus we are here to have fun and play a game, so it should be easy to be nice.
