About Graymason
Greetings adventurers! My name is Graymason, and I’ve been rolling dice and weaving tales since the 1980s. Now that my kids are out of the house, I have time to dive deep back into the hobby. I believe TTRP is about everyone at the table enjoying themselves. I focus on creating a welcoming, fun, and collaborative experiences for all. I love to see an adventuring session ending with victory for the players that required them to play smart, creatively and exhaust their resources to be successful. I love when players get into their characters and fully emerge themselves into the world. And love seeing a group of players collaborate and work as a team to solve problems they couldn't solve alone.

How Graymason runs games
Overall: My main focus is to collaboratively tell the story with the players and make sure everyone is engaged and having fun. Combat: I love strategically interesting fights, things that require you to do more than stand and whack an enemy. Combat that might require area of effect spells, crowd control, movement, interacting with the environment as well as the burning down of the big bad guys! I strive to include strategic decisions in combat and elements that make each battle unique. Role playing: I think the entire tables enjoys themselves more when players take on their character. It doesn't have to be voice acting, but when a character makes a decision that aligns with what their character would do, not what the person controlling the character would do, that really can be magical in the truest sense of the word. Exploration: I think having exploration helps make the world feel alive and is one of the things that separates TTTPG from video games or board games. Understanding what is happening in your world and how actions affect the world in meaningful ways drives immersion. Puzzles: I do like the occasional puzzle here or there. Who doesn't like a riddle from a magic mouth on the wall of a wizard's tower? Video example: Here is a 2 min video showing a little bit about a homebrew one shot I made to give you a sense to the attention to detail I put into my games: https://youtu.be/Fd6WRGJqhTI
